FASD Family/Caregiver Support Group Project
The Government of Ontario is committed to improving outcomes for children, youth, adults, caregivers, and siblings of families with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
Community-based FASD Support Groups for individuals and caregivers bring like-minded people together. Groups may be facilitated by service providers, volunteers or ideally both. They provide a ‘gathering spot’, whether virtual or in-person. This is an opportunity for mentorship, information sharing, emotional support and awareness activities.
