The Manitoba provincial court is expected to open at the end of February and sit one day a week. It will have judges with an understanding about the complexities of FASD as well as support workers to advise and connect individuals with with community programs. There will be a smaller, quieter courtroom with fewer distractions
Indigenous Story Studios has created a collection of five comics/motion comics about FASD, based on stories told by members of the Whitecrow Village community. The stories are about struggling in school, the importance of friendships and receiving support from friends and family. Check out a preview of the comics and the motion comics.

CanFASD is pleased to announce their newest free course, Foundations in FASD which provides a basic training program intended for everyone that will come into contact with individuals with FASD. This evidence-based course is both culturally sensitive and responsive to learners needs.
